While others contribute to instruments and back up vocals, it is Barlow who acts as the frontman, taking lead vocals and even pens songs for the band. As a band, Take That has rendered six albums under Sony BMG, Universal and Polydor labels, including Take That and Party, Everything Changes, Nobody Else, Beautiful World, The Circus and Progress. Throughout their journey, Take That even bagged some of the most prestigious awards in the music industry. They won themselves the ECHO Award, several BRIT Awards and MTV Europe Music Awards, among many others. They’ve also been nominated for the Mercury Prize for their album Everything Changes, though the compilation didn’t go well with the US audience and thus Take That weren’t able to bag the same.

The pop group then reformed in 2005 and has stayed active until now.
