Summer is here and will be around for sometime now. The warm clothes have all been put away and all the nice summery dresses, shorts and loose shirts are out. But the wardrobe needs a few new additions and you are thinking linen. Having heard so much of the cool factor of the fabric you really want to add on this material to your wardrobe. Now comes the question of where do you find a Linen store?

Most brands have come out with their own collection of linen wear. This material being completely labor oriented is slightly on the expensive side. Most stores have therefore created a small niche segment of dresses, suits and casual wear in this material.
A good place to start would be places like Marks and Spencers, Giovani, Vanheusen, Mango, etc. Smaller sets up which cater specifically to linen are also present through out the country and usually have a very niche clientele. All these stores have a good collection of and variety in style, pattern and colours. The experiment with colours will more often be in the ladies section. The Gentlemen will have to settle for plaid colours like beige, grey or an earthy brown ...
... and of course the ethereal white. Dresses, shorts and loose flowing tops in nice earth shades besides the natural beige of the linen. Most linen stores will have a select range of clothing for the fashion and quality conscious.

A good way to judge the quality of linen is to look for a smooth finish of the material, though often sales personal may say that blubs in linen are but natural. Don’t fall for that because the fact is that the finer and better the quality of linen, the smoother and more blub free it will be. Another good place to check for linen clothing would be large retail outlets and department stores which house all brands and their own selection as well. If you are lucky you may get a good deal off their own brand at a much lesser cost than the branded ones.
