Imran Khan –bollywood’s New Chocolate Boy

The puppy-eyed nephew of actor Aamir Khan (aka the Mr perfectionist of Bollywood) , Imran Khan is on the news again. He was first in the news having made a dream start to his Bollywood career with his debut film Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. With quite a conventional plot about friendship leading to the obvious, the movie soared because of its candidness, innocence, Rahman’s music, the spunky and absolutely adorable Genelia and of course the charming Imran.

He then made news because of his apparent jealousy and rivalry with Ranbir Kapoor (both being almost the same age). However, he dismissed all such rumours in a coffee show (Koffee with Karan where Ranbir too was present) and insisted that they were good friends. But he also admitted later that he was indeed jealous of Ranbir due to his dancing skills! “I am always jealous of people who dance well”, was the actor’s candid admission!

The next big news item was Imran Khan’s marriage to his long time girlfriend Avantika Malik (who also happens to be Ranbir’s ex!) They had a civil registered wedding at home which was attended only by a few close family members ...
... from both sides. The couple went for their honeymoon in Phuket where they had booked an entire island. This was followed by a lavish reception party thrown by Aamir which was attended by an endless list of celebrities (from Bollywood actors to industrialists) including the likes of Katrina Kaif , Sharukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Mukesh Ambani, Vijay Mallya and others.

Marriage seems to be working well for Imran, he has bagged quite a number of films immediately after his wedding. He was recently in news again for having shot a song for his upcoming film ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ at the Taj Mahal with actress Katrina Kaif. Not wanting his wife Avantika to miss out on this chance of visiting the Taj, which has been called the ultimate symbol of love, he called her over and the two spent a wonderful time together admiring the beauty of the white monument. The reporters don’t seem to be getting enough of this oh-so-cute actor. The latest news is that he has been spotted in Delhi driving a Bajaj Chetak Scooter with Katrina behind him!
