Wood clogs are a type of wooden footwear traditionally worn by the work men of Europe. It was initially hand crafted for the workmen as they were sturdy and the upper layer really hard. However, it is a fashion statement today.

Clogs are thought to have been originated in Europe and were worn by the manual work men in the olden days. The tough, hard and the sturdy feature was what made the clogs so popular among the workmen and was known as the work men's shoe. The wood used to make the clogs was resistant, durable and did not split. They were made with a special tool that was used to carve out the wood to fit in the feet comfortably. This company was founded by two women in Stockholm when they stumbled upon 300 pairs of clogs of the 1970's. The importantly titled brand saw the success on face when Sarah Jessica parker was of sex and the city 2 was seen wearing the very stylish clogs on the sets. As if to put a point across the clogs were voted to be the most popular fashion trend of the year 2010 over Volvo in Stockholm. These comfortable shoes are definitely to look out for.
