I don't have a lot of money.
It's a common problem, I know - but with Mother's Day approaching I know I'm going to have to produce a decent gift. I have a lot of siblings, you see. With two older brothers and a sister, it's not so much about trying to make my mother love me - it's about making her love me most. I have years of chronic middle-child syndrome to compensate for.

The piece of advice that most websites give about saving money is to always look for a better deal, but this is a tough thing to do when buying presents because I always feel like I'm being cheap if I don't buy the best thing I can afford. I never used to buy flowers, but one day I thought, Hey. If I spend the whole budget for my gift on flowers, the bunch will be pretty amazing!
