In places like the Gold coast where the climatic conditions are mostly warm all houses have insulation to try and keep them cool. Your concrete floor acts like a huge thermos devise helping to keep your home cool in the hot months and then in the cool months it retains the warmth from inside. This is slowly released to keep you warm and lower any heating bills. If it gets really cold in your area you can install a variety of different heaters such as water or solar heaters in your concrete to warm it if required.

The extremely long service life of polished concrete means it is very inexpensive over the long term and they will add a lot of value to your home or other building. Ask your local real estate agent if they think a polished concrete floor helps increase a properties value and salability.
