The aim of conducting this research in the introduction to Salesforce development is to be introduced to the skills, techniques as well as the knowledge that is required to work on the Salesforce technologies. Plan
Ahead of this iteration, the researcher plans to make sure that everything is in place as he plans to carry out three main activities that will see the research accomplished. The post-research tasks will incorporate the drawing of the research objectives and the schedule that will cover the one week of activities each consisting of two hours of research each day. The venue will also be selected where there will be no disturbance during the time of doing the research.
The first task that the researcher plans to do is to gather the materials that are required to ensure that this research on requirements gathering is effectively accomplished. The researcher intends to search the Web with the aim of finding the information that will be useful for the requirements for the Salesforce development. He plans to gather all the useful sources of information including the online sources, the journals, the magazines, and books as these will contain useful information that will facilitate the accomplishment of this research on requirements gathering. The gathering of the sources will take place for one day, and they will be listed and downloaded where possible to ensure that no time will again be wasted during the search for information. At the end of the activity, the researcher expects to have in hand a list of the sources that will be used for the research of the information on the Salesforce developer requirements.
Next, the researcher will the gather the educational requirements from the listed sources. Since the entire research is to be completed within a period of one week, with a two-hour research each day, the researcher will utilize the four hours available in this case to cover the educational requirements for the Salesforce developer comprehensively. What the researcher will be looking for while gathering information on the academic qualifications will include the basic educational level, the certifications if any, the accreditation body, and the duration of the training. The researcher may also identify the institutions where the training can take place and how one can further their studies as Salesforce developers. At the end of the iteration, the researcher aims to ensure he has a complete understanding of the academic qualifications that Salesforce developer requires to become a competent developer.
The third activity in the plan that the researcher plans to do is to research the roles and responsibilities, and skill-set required for a Salesforce developer to accomplish those roles and responsibilities. The academic qualifications usually talk about the papers while the skill and training requirements talk about the exact skills and competence that the Salesforce developer requires to carry his/her duties and roles effectively. During this research work that is planned for two days, the researcher wants to get a full insight into the areas of competence involving both the soft and technical skills that can make the Salesforce developer not only competent in this area but also effective in all their duties and responsibilities. The same sources that will be gathered during activity one will still be used in this activity. At the end of this activity, the researcher plans to completely understand all the skills that are in the requirement for a Salesforce, developer expert.
The researcher plans to carry out all these three activities from the school library with the aim of ensuring that there is no movement or traveling that may result in time wastage. The researcher will also make sure that there is an Internet connection while doing this iteration because many sources are online and these will have to be accessed throughout the requirements gathering period.
