Lemon grape seed oil, clean, crisp, high smoke point oil with a fresh lemony flavor is an unusual combination that makes every cook’s dream come true! There are several wonderful uses of this greatly combined oil. Also, these oils are all natural, with no trans-fat, gluten free, no GMO’s, made in a plant that is peanut free, tree nut free, seafood/ fish free. But have you ever wondered how these oils are made? Let us find it out here:

Firstly, the grapes are pressed and their juice is accumulated. It is then converted to wine and the left over is called pomace that includes the stems, pulp, skin and seeds of the grapes. Then, the pomace is dried and sifted by hand by using metal sieves that are designed with holes just big enough that the tiny grape seeds can fall through those. Now you might be thinking where the oil is and how to extract the oil from the seed? These seeds are extremely hard, but each little seed contains a tiny bit of oil. These seeds are first hand roasted in cast iron kettles and then placed in anexpeller press from where the precious oil drizzles out which is then lightly filtered and bottled! And the best part of the entire process is that there is no use of any chemical.

A lot of people today buy grape seed oil but they do not know what to do with it and how to use it! Hence end up in wasting such a valuable product! Hence below are a few tips on how to use lemon grape seed oil in the best possible ways in your culinary endeavors.

Stir Frying – As this oil has a light, clean and fresh flavor, it allows the effervescence and freshness of your food to shine through. With an extremely high smoking point of 420°F, this amazing oil is just perfect for a sizzling hot wok.

Deep Frying – The flavor of this oil is mild and sometimes people find it flavorless as well, also, it has the ability to withstand high heat and all these qualities make it wonderful oil for cooking fish fries, fried chicken, and tempura as well as for pickles in a deep fryer.

Sautéing –The light color and mild flavor allows the color and flavor of your food ingredients to be the highlight of your entire cooking process.

Meat Searing – As already mentioned it has a high smoking point; it has the ability to get extremely hot that helps in getting a hard sear on your meat easily. Whether you are cooking it on the stovetop or in the oven, a caramelized brown perfection is what you will achieve!

Vegetable Roasting–Many of us grab olive oil to drizzle on our vegetables for roasting but how about getting a new and fresh flavor in it? Doesn’t that sound interesting? Yes you can add a fresh flavor by using lemon olive oil instead! Also, lemon grape seed oil is another great option. You can try it with broccoli or squash. Adding a light coat of oil onto the bottom of your roasting pan, then throw in your veggies and roast it in the oven or on the stovetop or on the grill! Choice is all yours!

Dressing the Salad – Lemon grape seed oil and lemon olive oil both are adaptable and pair up with any flavor graciously. So try these oils out in salad dressings with balsamic vinegar, honey base or mustard!

Grilling – Not just greasing the grill, you can even use these oils for brushing vegetables or anything you are cooking so that they do not stick to the pan! These oils are also a great addition to sauces and marinades for the barbecue.
