4. Helps in slimming down- Yes, you read that right! However, make sure you have it in the first half, and not later in the day, as metabolism is faster in the morning hours.

5. Aids in beating depression- cake has traditionally been a food of celebration, friendship, sharing, joy, and so on! It would not be an overstatement to say that people often connect and bond over cakes, thus keeping depression at bay.
