Scholarship For Girls In Jharkhand

The Government of Jharkhand no more wants to be known for its beauty. They now want to remove their name from the list of illiterate states in India. To achieve this, the government has now taken the task of spreading the importance of education in an individual’s life, be it a girl or boy very seriously. Thus, to gain support from the general public, the Jharkhand State Government has initiated the girls scholarship in Jharkhand, scholarship in all courses, opened many Government engineering colleges in Jharkhand, etc.

Through this initiative of offering a scholarship for Jharkhand students, the Government aims to improve the literacy rate and also allow young girls and children belonging to the category of SC/ST/OBC to enjoy their right to education. The education for girls in Jharkhand is an essential mission for the government so that every woman can call themselves independent.

Keeping this mission in mind, the Jharkhand Government has come up with women and child schemes such as-

● Apni Beti Apna Dhan- In order to empower the girl child financially as well as socially the Government has started this scheme. Through this initiative, girls belonging to minority class such as ST/SC/OBC or in general category but living below poverty line, for them, an amount is deposited in the girl child’s name which will be paid only to her after the age of 18. Through this money, she can finance her further studies.

● Mukhyamantri Ladli Lakshmi Yojana- This initiative was incorporated to ensure that a girl’s education is not stopped midway. The Government has initiated this scheme which looks to provide financial assistance to girls belonging in the below the poverty line category. The government deposits money every year in the name of the girl child till she becomes five years old. And further money is deposited only when she gets admission into school for education.

Along with such schemes the Government has also come up with different girls scholarship in Jharkhand. Such scholarship programmes include BCCL or CCL Lal and Laadli scholarship. Under this scholarship, a talented and young girl appearing either for class 10 exam or engineering entrance exam can apply and avail this scholarship. The program also includes free training and tuition from professionals.

The Government of Jharkhand has also opened top-class engineering colleges in Jharkhand for both girls and boys such as-
● BA college of engineering and technology
● Chaibasa Engineering College etc.

Through such initiative of girls scholarship in Jharkhand and educational scholarship in all courses, India as a nation is sure to grow and develop at a rapid pace.
