Whatever you are hearing is absolutely correct, FaceBook is all set for its new framework. They say it’s going to be lightweight. Also, the native integration is going to improve. The latest initiative to work on a creative framework that will create the best native mobile apps is likely to see better results. They basically want to re-establish the architecture for an integrated infrastructure.
FaceBook architecture stands on the two fundamental platforms:
• JavaScript
• React UI Library
However, engineers working on this have opined on the restructure, saying that some of the React Native apps will remain the same. Their architecture will stay untouched.
The re-architecture of the framework is said to make Facebook lighter. Furthermore the engineers are working towards fitting in native apps in a better way. This will entail three chief changes which have been mentioned below:
• This will be based on a threading model where things will be made easier for synchronous calling on Javascript especially during any highly prioritised update. It will help keep low prioritised updates off the thread.
• Other than async rendering features, the framework will offer multiple rendering capabilities while simplifying asynchronous handling of data.
• There is bridge simplification meant to make the framework even lighter than before. Besides, the architecture is all set to turn faster and there can be direct calls generating from native as well as Javascript; these will help faster and easier building of debugging tools.
According to Facebook specialists, the closer integrations are meant to go straightforward soon after the alterations. However they are of the opinion that the recent scenario prohibits incorporation of native navigation along with gesture handling, unless there is an intervention of complicated hacks. Meanwhile, Facebook has clearly given its efforts to cut down on React Native so that it will be able to fit well with the existing Javascript. This has led to the creation of VM and the Bundle Swappable. Furthermore they have said initially the principles involved in React Native have restricted the use of certain features. For instance the existence of the asynchronous bridge between native development and JavaScript is deterring integration among native APIs and Javascript Logic. This batched bridge is preventing React Native apps to function properly. There is a strategic approach which Faceook is resorting to in order to get the restructuring streamlined.
App development is not an easy job, there are various complexities involved. Even a smaller mobile app development company in Kolkata will consider the fact before starting with development task.
