Seafood prepared using prawns or oysters are good for your heart as well as the waistline, as they are low in fats. However, the deep-fried seafood may not provide the same benefits. The tuna, sardines, and other oily fish on the menu of Mediterranean restaurants are abundant in useful fatty acids that are heart-healthy. Some of the species of fish are rich in antioxidants and vital micronutrients, which greatly improves your health.

Sunbathing is one of the most important aspects of holidays spent in beach destinations. Limited exposure of your body to the warm rays of the morning sun can improve your physical and emotional health and well-being, besides supplying your body with an abundance of Vitamin D. This particular vitamin makes your body utilise phosphorus and calcium effectively, making your bones stronger. Certain precautions have to be taken before getting out into the sun, such as applying a good sunscreen and avoiding exposure to the sunlight during lunchtime. If you expose your body to small amounts of sun's rays in the morning, it can also help in fixing the blemishes on your skin.
