A Smart And Detailed Guideline On Making Your Catalog Pop!
Total Articles: 3
If you think out from the customer’s point of view, then which catalog would you pick up from a bunch of them? The one that is well-designed and is made of good material, right? Well then when it comes to your business, why would you just go for the cheapest materials out there? Trust me, it wouldn’t affect your ROI at all, and can even create a negative impact on your brand in the minds of people. Represent your business in the classiest way by using innovative, attractive and smart catalogs.
So here is the complete guideline for you to follow which would help you create a long-lasting impression in the minds of your potential clients.
The Right Paper – The first thing which I am going to draw your attention to is the quality of the paper that would be used by your chosen sign ship for catalog printing. The most suggested ones include text stock: 80 lb gloss, text stock: 100 lb gloss, cardstock: 100lb gloss, etc. The options differ for inside and cover pages, so study that properly. And if you want to give them a very matte look, then text stock 100 lb or card stock 100 lb matte should be your pick! Trust me, every competitor out there is striving for attention and if you want to beat them all, this should be your first step while creating your printed advertisements.
A good quality of paper would also have good tensile strength. Want something fancier? Then, order the waterproof or tear-proof ones.
Separate the Sections – Page dividers are another way to make your catalog pop in the crowd. It can be used in a variety of ways. This would impress the reader/onlooker furthermore because their browsing would be way easier. When my clients ask me about this, I tell them that this is especially important if the page count of your business catalog is more than 9. A durable and stylish cardstock for the tabs would compel the prospective customers go through them. Mark my words on this!
Emboss the Logo – I come across many entrepreneurs who have a very tight budget when it comes to printed media. I have one suggestion for them – do it properly or do not do it at all because until and unless you go a little over-the-top the ROI wouldn’t be significant. Embossing the logo, for example, is very important. It would gift your business a very sophisticated face and call for ATTENTION! If possible emboss the images, textures, step, and repeats as well.
A Unique Size – Going for the regular and “blah” sizes wouldn’t help your brand at all. Go for something unique such as 5.83 * 8.27 European A5 Size, 6.62 * 10.25 Comic Size, etc. Think out of the box and if needed, talk to an expert!
So, this was a detailed guideline for you all. There are a few other factors as well which I will be discussing in my next article. Stay tuned to get more information on online printing services and other printed media.
