Google Adwords is crowned as the number one digital marketing trend for 2018, according to advertising company Concept Marketing. Based on the digital marketing giant’s chunky client portfolio, the number of clients opting to buy into the remarketing platform has grown rapidly in the last 12 months.

With at least 90% of clients opting to include Google Adwords as part of their subscribed package, Concept Marketing says it has become an “ingenious remarketing tool”.

“2017 has really been the year of Google Adwords,” says Concept Marketing’s Managing Director, Mark Da Silva. “Google Adwords is an ingenious remarketing tool, if you think of it. For example, if a user views a product without proceeding to the check-out, they are given the chance to reconsider their purchase and are followed to their subsequent web addresses in a non-spam fashion,” says Da Silva.
Social media scored a close second with 86% of clients opting to grow their social following this year through Concept Marketing advertising company services. Facebook Ad Campaigns, lead forum generations and registration platforms are among the key buzzwords that win over the Perth borne agency’s clients.

With 77% display advertising placed third in the digital marketing agency’s service study. Display advertising is one of the most well-known digital trends for companies that have developed a full service advertising website.

Da Silva says: “While I have no crystal ball, I predict that Twitter and Facebook will be the key players which will collectively continue to champion and dominate the total display ad territory in 2018.”
Native advertising scooped fourth position with 71% of the client’s database selecting it as a must in their digital content strategies and an area that has continued to grow for the full service advertising company in 2017. Popular product derivatives such as “recommended for you” and “you may also like” features, ensures native advertising has become a popular client requirement for Concept Marketing clients.
The fifth and final digital trend that has won the hearts of the Concept Marketing digital marketing agency clients for 2017 is the ever-powerful video. Concept Marketing believes video is an important medium that has the unique ability to transform and tell a story in a new and interactive way.
