Thanks to all-in-one printers, that need May not always be to print a document or form, but simply to scan a document to attach the image to an email. In addition, with a small business, cash flow and running costs are always critical, so there is little point in spending thousands of dollars on something you only use a couple of times a week when that money could be better spent more directly on the business.

Today’s printers whether they’re simple, sheetfed inkjet printers or high-output, multi-function laser printers will save you more than just time and aggravation. With improved technologies, newer printers can even save you money. Not all printers are created equal, so how do you determine which printer is right for you?

Color vs black and white printing will dictate whether you need an inkjet or laser printer. Documents such as newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials are usually printed in color; whereas text-heavy documents are best served by black and white.

Whereas Inkjet printers allow you to use cardstock; photo paper and matte finish papers which are great for color photo printing. Color laser printers are not the best for printing photos but are great for color presentations, charts, spreadsheets, etc. Inkjet printers are often superior to laser printers when it comes to image printing, so does your research if this is what you need your printer to be capable of doing.

2.Multi-functionally Device :

Today’s multi-functional devices are more than used like color laser printers. They can also deliver high-quality scans, take care of the occasional fax, and directly email your scans to anyone of your choosing. If you just need something to print documents, then a standard printer may be for you. One benefit of a multi-function printer is that you can reduce office space by getting rid of a copier and fax machine.

The quality of your print has a last impression of how others see your business. Times have changed and businesses need to consider that a strong global interest in technology has increased the expectation of what is commonly accepted as high-quality print.

4. How Much Speed Do You Need?

Slow print speeds can interrupt workflow, and the time spent waiting for your printer to turn out your printed materials has a direct impact on your business’ profitability. Print speed is measured in pages per minute or and can differ between color laser printers, so make sure to check those specifications carefully.

5. Paper-Handling Choices

The printer you choose should offer the paper-handling capabilities appropriate for what you do now and it should be expandable to accommodate subsequent growth. Some businesses printer more than others and there are a couple of things to consider when choosing your printer. Let’s face it; it is a pain to have to reload the paper, especially in the middle of a print job.
