Creativity And Creative Thinking

Creativity is the word that everyone has on their lips today. It can be met as a personal characteristic, in most of the resumes of people of different professions (and not only creative ones). For creative people, large companies hunt, they are admired. Many are convinced that this quality in the modern world is simply a necessity. However, no one knows exactly how and in what measure it is measured.

Creativity is the ability to create and find new original ideas, deviating from the accepted schemes of thinking to successfully solve the problems in a non-standard way. This is a vision of problems from a different angle and their solution in a unique way. Creative thinking is revolutionary and creative thinking, which is constructive.

Creative thinking has value in business, science, culture, art, politics - in short, in all dynamic life areas where competition is developed. This is its value for society.

For example, entrepreneurs creativity allows you to see the perspective where it would seem it has long been gone. If a particular niche is filled with competitors, they can come up with something new. Writers creative abilities allow you to find original stories, from the reading of which it is difficult to tear yourself away. To psychologists, creativity helps to invent new methods of communication with clients. The creativity of scientists is an important factor in human progress. And how important is the creative approach for such professions as engineer, designer, PR agent, the advertiser (advertising manager, advertising agent ...) ... creativity and creativity go hand in hand.

To be a creative person means to have certain preferences and advantages in this world, for example, it is advantageous to differ from colleagues in work, to be a more interesting interlocutor (boredom and banality are qualities not belonging to creative individuals), to be able to find unexpected solutions from difficult life situations. Creative people are more balanced and tolerant of others because they know that every person sees the world in their own way.

You can use your creative abilities not only to create new interesting ideas (for improving life or its separate aspects) but also for self-improvement and development of the personality as a whole. Any creative activity helps us to acquire personal meaning and comprehend our own values. And this is the most important spiritual need of man, which distinguishes him from other living beings.

Studying biographies and stories of successful people David Galenson (economist, researcher) came to the conclusion that the peak of creative abilities can be achieved at any age. Galenson singled out two types of creative personalities. Some, manifest themselves in all splendor even at the age of conscription, others, mature very slowly, their highest creations and ideas fall to the second half of life. He then gives two striking examples from both groups:

Pablo Picasso, who entered the history of art at an early age, wrote his most expensive paintings between 26 and 30 years. That's what the artist said about his creative talent - "I rarely experimented. If I had anything to say, I never looked for a way to do it, but I just found it ... ".

A very opposite example is Paul C├ęzanne. He began to paint at the age of 15, but only when he was 61 years came to his success and a special look. Cezan used to say: "In art, I'm looking for my own way."

The last example clearly shows that to develop creative abilities; creativity people can look at any age. However, many of us are not at all ready to recognize ourselves as a creative gift, while many people can think creatively. A person either undervalues these abilities or not at all, and he considers himself hopelessly mediocre.
