In Under-19 World Cup, the best three scorers so far are DW Lawrence, Karim Janat, and JTA Bumham. Lawrence, the England player scored 174 runs in the match against Fiji in 2016 version of the tournament. Karim Janat is the batsman from Afghanistan. His score of 156 is also against the U19 team of Fiji. While, JTA Bumham also knocked 148 as the third highest scorer against Fiji in the same match as his team-mate Lawrence. The highest Indian scorer in U19 is RR Pant. He scored 111 against Namibia in the tournament.

Lawrence scored 174 off 150 balls. In the stretch, he hammered 25 fours and a six. The world cup match was held in Chittagong on 27 January 2016. In the match, England U19 team won by a whopping 299 runs. The team posed a challenge of 371 runs for Fiji. The inning had the centuries off Lawrence and Burnham. The latter score of 148 was off 173 balls. He knocked 19 fours and 4 sixes. Both the players partnered for more than 43 overs at the second wicket. While Burnham was dismissed in the 47th over, Lawrence played until the last over of the inning. Fiji could score only 72 runs sustaining 27.3 overs in the chase. PV Vuniwaqa scored 36 off 74 balls as the highest score.
The match where Karim Janat knocked the second highest score was also against Fiji. He played 132 balls for the score of 156, featuring 12 fours and 6 sixes. In the match, Afghanistan scored 340 runs. Another player, Perwez Malikzai also scored a half century in the match. In reply, Fiji scored only 114 runs being exhausted in 31.2 overs in the match. J Baleicikoibia scored 29 as the highest scorer. Fiji lost the match by 226 runs.
