The Role Of Paid And Organic Social Media Marketing
Total Articles: 2
As we all know, online businesses are very common these days. But to make your online business successful, you need to do some online marketing. The best medium to do online marketing is social media marketing. And having some social media presence is a must in today’s world. The major part of social media marketing is to study the difference between the paid and unpaid campaign.
So how should you know you need to do a paid or unpaid social media marketing?
The answer to this question depends on the tools you want to use, the results you want and how you want to achieve them.
Inorganic Social Media Marketing –
With Inorganic social media marketing, you invest some money in return for getting faster results. In paid social media marketing, the major advantage is that you can define your target audience with some tools designed by each social media company to engage in only those people who already have interest in your product or service. The ads will only reach the people who you have targeted making them click on the link and visit your website. Due to this, there is a chance that you will get faster and better results.
And some amount of ppc advertising has to be done as it has almost got difficult to get results solely from organic means. Once your ad goes online on different platforms, you will start getting clicks and more number of people will visit your website. All the social media platforms have built in analytics to check your analytics information such that you can track your ROI.
But with paid advertising, there is a small risk, as there is no guarantee to see a positive ROI. Without research and planning, there are chances that your campaigns may alter out and eventually die. That is why creating a strong social strategy is a must to get the most benefits from the campaign.
Organic Social Media Marketing –
With organic social media marketing, one needs to invest a lot of time and effort to get the audience to the website. This process is slower but long lasting. It cannot target audience like paid but it can keep working for over a long period of time. It is also just as important to paid marketing.
Unpaid online marketing involves using free tools available on various social media platforms to build a social community through which you can interact on a regular basis. Your goal is to get eyes on your content, which turns to leads and which further converts into customer thus improving sales.
Though organic takes a lot of time but it does get us results. After all, a paid ad may only get the audience to your site but if there is no proper and engaging content on your website, the lead may not take its turn to become a customer and exit the website increasing your bounce rate.
Thus, the answer to the above question is neither a paid nor an unpaid campaign alone could do us wonders. A strategic combination of both is the best.
