You started your own company and thought about developing a custom logo design. At first, it seems like an easy task, doesn’t it? But I’m here to tell you it isn’t. If you want your logo to be attractive and catchy to the people, follow our guide to developing a good logo. People say it is an easy job, just type in the name of a company, insert a shape, and the logo is complete. Many companies have logos which relate to their history and legacy. If you want to make your logo which will attract people to your business a lot of thought process has to go in it.

There are estimated almost over a million people working on logos which are low quality and crappy selling in bulks. Most of them don’t even use professional software.

Here are some tips to help you develop a good custom logo design.

Double Entendre

It’s a complicated word, and so is the technique. Double entendre is a technique which many professionals use and has a very attractive feel to it. In this technique two pictures are over lapsed each other creating a two double meaning when looked at from different angles or thought. This type requires a lot of skill and creativity.

People love to place mind games, and usually, this type of logos are easily stored in a person’s mind once you see it.

Colors

In my opinion, colors are one of the biggest aspects that go into making a good logo. Sometimes even a very simple logo can look attractive if the color combinations are made right. Logo with a simple design with rich colors would look far better than a logo which is high quality, but the colors aren’t right. Colors pop the logo up and should necessarily be used in a good amount unless you have been specified colors by the client.

Cliché

Well, most often people use a trend to the point where you start disliking it. Same goes into the logo industry, every once in a while there comes a trendy logo which everyone than keeps copying and reusing till the point where it becomes so mainstream that it isn’t unique or attractive anymore. Make your own unique designs don’t shy away from it just because the client might not like it, bring something different from others which everyone will remember.

Keep it unique

This is something well most often missed by logo makers. They start making logos with the same design because it’s trendy. However, it becomes too mainstream and then unusable since it starts to get disliked. In your free time pull out a paper and start drawing some rough designs of your own. That is when you come up with something unique.

Custom type

Even though everyone loves it, this is also the type which is used a lot more than it should have. Custom type is when you simply use a catchy font to make the name of your company as the logo.If you are paying someone to do that type of logo for you, don’t do it.

This still might seem difficult, but if you follow the instructions, you will be able to develop a cool custom logo design.
