Due to the use of springs, these mattresses are very much bouncy in nature and the problem with excess bouncy nature of mattresses is motion transfer. What happens with these mattresses is when your partner moves during the sleep, motions are transferred by the mattress to other places and interrupts your sleep. These days many mattress manufacturers have started to add foam in upper layer for better level of comfort. Spring mattresses are also known as coir mattresses.

Foam mattress:- foam mattresses are made up of foam, as they are filled up with foam in multiple layers. These days, foam mattresses are the most popular form of mattresses in the world because they are widely used.

Memory foam mattress:- This is the latest addition to the list of mattresses and they have open cell structure. They are known for retaining the pressure and they come back at their natural shape once you come out of the bed. It remembers the pressure points and that is why it is known as memory foam.
