An associate degree by doing graphic designing courses is sufficient, but in some countries, a Department of Labor reports are much likely to land prospective designers their dream job.

• Do a few internships- Not every college program in the field of graphic designing require internships, but students who have had work experience in this field had a better opportunity in creating a successful career. An Internship helps to create a suitable presentation in your portfolio, helps to form professional relationships and contacts in the community and also aids in gaining practical experience.

• Creating an excellent portfolio- While a good resume is important for people in the corporate sector to land jobs, for graphic designers, creating an impressive portfolio helps to make a good image in the interviewer's mind.
