But, how to tackle these home works in the right way?

To be honest, there isn't a right way, or a wrong way in selling your comic books. However, there are certain steps that you could do to make sure that you successfully sell comics online.

1. Where?

There are many places where you could go to sell your comic books. If you would like to sell the comics in a pawn shop, or collectible shop, then you are free to do so. However, if you don't like to move your legs so much, then you could sell the comics online sitting in the comforts of your home.

All you would need is a picture of your comic book, and then a phone, or laptop, and Internet.

Bidding sites like Ebay, and Stanley Gibbons are your best options. Though you would find many online sites other than this too. So don't be lazy enough, and go through discussion boards, and forums to find the right place that suites your needs.

2. Price

Unlike gold, and silver that retains its rate at least for a while, comic books devalue at the time that they are purchased from the store. Which means, if you had paid $10 for a comic book, you aren't going to get the $10 back once you sell them.

However, there are some exceptions for first appearances, and first prints which are of high demand these days. Nonetheless, the chances of a person's having a first edition copy or the early editions are really rare. But, if you do have them, do bring them to the stores, because it can make you are fortune full of luck.

3. Condition

Unless you haven't taken care of your comic book like a baby, chances are that they would have some yellow, or torn pages, or pages with folds. What is to be understood is that all kinds of flaws on a comic books make its price diminish to a certain extend.

And it is with these conditions that the possible buyers will grade your comic, and decide a price for it.

4. Cover

When shopping your comic book, or while handing it out to the buyer, you should make sure that the comic book is particularly clean, and better looking. The bags and boards designed specially, and one could lay their hand on them very easily.

These services will attract more potential buyers, and would help you fill your pockets. Most importantly, don't use old bags with a pile of sello tapes on it as it will look pretty clumsy.
