Natural Water Moving far Beyond the Accessibility:

The challenges are increasing day by day, the pure natural source of drinking water is moving away from our easy accessibility. Only few percentage of the global population has access to the virgin natural source. Either we drink contaminated or the processed drinking water.

Drink Natural Feel Natural:

Statistics reveal 45% of the global population consumes contaminated water. We are dependent on the processed drinking water, and it is the hard truth to believe, very few of us can recall the taste of fresh and pure natural water. Some companies like Himalayan backed by Tata Beverages guarantees to provide fresh natural direct from the source to our houses, how much their products are natural can't be said.

Water in Generations:

This is the hard truth but 100% acceptable; rarely any one of us can get ready to bath in the river having higher siltation, but few generations ago people were not hesitating to drinking this and so it is evident most of our historical cities were settled on the bank of the rivers.

How do you feel?

Reading these lines, the foremost things come to mind, how the hell these all happens. What factored all these to happen? Who the hell polluted our natural water? What the hell government and society are doing for the purification. And bla.. bla.. bla..

Pollutant Classification:

Researchers cite for the main two general causes direct and indirect sources of contaminants degrading purity. Contaminants can also be classified into organic, inorganic, radioactive, acidic, and basic, etc.

Contaminant Control:

Effluent out falls from factories, animal sewage, waste treatment plants, refineries, etc. are the main direct pure contaminants. Though laws are framed to reduce the illegal practices still we are waiting to see the juice full outcomes as there lacks political will. There need to be executed waste management system as well as the development of proper infrastructure so that natural water can flow untouched with contaminants.

Some contaminants enter the supply from inside in the groundwater systems such as acid rain or the rain water which are highly acidic in nature. Use of chemical fertilizers and deforestations also increase pollutants.

As our culture was to offer water to any one comes our way and we had linked it with our religion, this is the need of hour’s to collect contaminants where ever we find and dispose of it with a proper waste management system. We also need to act collectively in reducing direct flows of wastes in our natural ecosystem.
